Our Lake Magdalene Music Ministries will present “God Bless America – A Patriotic Musical Celebration” on Sunday, July 2nd at 5:00 PM in our Sanctuary! This concert features the Lake Magdalene Chancel Choir, Lake Magdalene Orchestra, and the Lake Magdalene Ringers.

The Orchestra will play Eternal Father; Strong to Save; God of Our Fathers; and America the Beautiful. The Lake Magdalene Ringers, directed by Kathryn Jurado, will play two handbell arrangements of American favorites. Our Chancel Choir will sing the Procession of the Patriots honoring those who have served and are serving our country.

Our special guest Gospel Quartet, “Grateful Four” (Scott Brown, Joel Mercer, Russ Powell and Jeff Welch), will be singing Let There Be Peace on Earth. Dr. Samuel Kwok, our Director of Music Ministries, will perform an improvisation on American Songs on the piano. The audience will join in singing several patriotic songs with the Chancel Choir and Orchestra, including the Battle Hymn of the Republic and God Bless America.
