Hi Church Family!
Welcome to “LMC ON MISSION,” the official missions blog of Lake Magdalene Church.
Here, we celebrate how God is moving through the hands and hearts of His people—across the street and around the world. Through stories, updates, and reflections, you’ll see how our church family is living out the Great Commission, bringing hope, healing, and the love of Christ wherever He leads. Join us as we go together—on mission.

Rescue First Ministries (Missionary Ventures) is a ministry located on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. It’s founders, Rick and Barb Sucher, first started their journey in Southeast Asia in the Philippines. After serving for almost seven years there, they felt God changing their course and moving them to the Dominican Republic where they have now been serving for the past nineteen years. First on the South Coast and now on the North Coast of the DR, they have connections all over the Island and do ministry not only in their hometown but also all the surrounding cities of the Dominican Republic. Along with their children, Rick and Barb aim to spread the gospel not only to the locals but also the tourists.
